Common Issues & Troubleshooting for Semi-Automatic Filling Capping Machines

Even the most reliable equipment may encounter minor issues during operation. Knowing how to troubleshoot common problems with your semi-automatic filling capping machine can minimize downtime and keep your production on track. Below are solutions to the most frequent issues, based on Guangzhou Baichuan’s official operation manual.

No Power After Plugging In:
Check if the power switch and emergency stop button are turned on. If the breaker tripped, reset it and ensure the power connection is secure.
Inaccurate Filling:
If the hose isn’t pre-filled, run manual filling a few times to eliminate air. Verify bottle capacity consistency and stabilize air compressor pressure. Adjust filling volume on the Para Page.

 Filling Misalignment:
Ensure bottles are fully inserted into the turntable.
Bottles/Caps Crushed:
Bottles may not be properly placed—double-check alignment. For crushed caps, ensure caps are aligned with bottle necks. Adjust the capping system’s height and position.
Pump Not Working:
Inspect the pump cable for damage and check the relay for malfunctions.
